VITAM Organic Light Basic Sauce – Versatile vegan sauce base

Product description:

The VITAM Organic Light Basic Sauce is the ideal powder for preparing vegan sauces. This mild sauce goes perfectly with vegetables, rice and pasta and serves as an excellent base for bechamel and hollandaise sauces. Refine your sauce creations with vegan cream, white wine, vegetable stock, lemon juice or fresh herbs. There are no limits to your culinary imagination - from a dill sauce to aromatic mustard sauce to exotic coconut-ginger sauce.

Ingredients:

Corn starch*, sea salt, raw cane sugar*, yeast extract, onion powder*, thickener: guar gum*, celery root*, parsley root*, pepper*, nutmeg. (* = from controlled organic cultivation)

Allergy advice:

This product contains celery.

Preparation:

For 2 portions, stir 14g (2 tsp) sauce powder into 200ml cold water or other liquid. Bring to the boil for 1 minute while stirring. Tip: Round off with 3 tbsp vegan milk and refine with herbs and spices.
